Hubby and I rang in the New Year last night at the Beacon Grille in Woburn, MA. Located less than a half hour from our house, it was on our list of local places to try. Turns out we were smart to wait - it was the perfect place for our New Year's celebration! (click for complete review)

Another great meal at Beacon Grille! We enjoy this restaurant because of the "City Quality" food, but on the 128 corridor. They were quick and efficient, and the food was excellent! The scallops are delicious and the veal special was fantastic... melted in my mouth.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoyed quality food and beverages.

My husband and I loved everything about the Beacon Grille. They were extremely prompt at seating and serving us. The food was amazing. We had the Shrimp Cocktail, Filet Mignon and Pear Cheese Cake. Delicious! We will definitely recommend it and we will definitely return.

Second time visiting this establishment and second time I came away completely satisfied. Great drink selection and excellent food. From beef to seafood, they do it right.

After some picture taking, we finally entered the restaurant. We had a reservation made NOT by phone, NOT by email but by Twitter. No joke. The very friendly social media rep who handles the @BeaconGrille Twitter account was very gracious to take my reservation request by Direct Message. Hey! I like that. I've always thought Twitter was one of the most useful social media tools out there and here is another way it was beneficial. (click here for the complete review)

A Beacon in the Night

In celebration of my mother’s birthday, we went to Beacon Grille in Woburn last night. Don’t let the big sign by the highway and 128 World Trade Center location fool you – the Cummings family has done a fantastic job of creating an oasis in Boston’s nearby suburbs. The sophisticated interior makes you forget where you are, the menu offers something for everyone without overwhelming and the service is extraordinary. Our server was a true professional and the chef and GM visited us, along with making the rounds in the dining room. (click for complete review)

Beacon Grille: Lunch

Beacon Grille is one of the newest restaurants in Woburn, located just off Rt.128 at the Tradecenter 128. It is an unusual restaurant in that 100% of their net profits are donated to the Cummings Foundation, Inc., a charitable organization. There are plenty of restaurants that donate to charities, yet I am unaware of any other restaurant that donates so much of their profits. (click for complete review)

Serious food comes with a side of social responsibility

Open since January, the Beacon Grille is Cumming Properties’ first venture into the restaurant business. Located within the TradeCenter 128 complex that includes Middlesex Superior Court, the restaurant specializes in steaks and seafood. An equally serious effort, however, has been dedicated to green practices: buying and hiring locally; installing LED lights, photovoltaic solar panels, and Energy Star-rated kitchen appliances; collecting rain water in a 7,000-gallon underground tank for watering trees and shrubs; converting cooking grease into biodiesel fuel; recycling glass and aluminum; and providing an on-site bus stop, bicycle racks, and preferred parking for low-emission vehicles.
