Beacon Grille is proud to donate 100 percent of its net profits to the Cummings/Hillel Holocaust and Genocide Education Program at Tufts University. Please read below for more information about the impactful projects and events that have resulted from this charitable endeavor, and view this student-produced video to hear why it is so important to learn about the Holocaust and other genocides.

November 2011

With support from Beacon Grille, the Cummings/Hillel Program for Holocaust and Genocide Education brought Dr. John Saunders to Tufts University to share his incredible first-hand account of Holocaust survival. The evening also featured the moving exhibit, “Gates of Hell, Private Tolkatchev,” made possible by the American Society for Yad Vashem.

The Cummings/Hillel Holocaust and Genocide Education Program at Tufts University becomes fully operational. Rabbi Jeffrey Summit works with students to plan a calendar of impactful activities, including guest lectures and interfaith service learning trips.

May 2011

For the second year, Beacon Grille sponsors 20 Tufts students on an interfaith trip to Agahozo Shalom Youth Village, a community in Rwanda that provides orphaned children a safe and secure living environment, health care, education, and necessary life skills.
