Private seated dinner service from 10 to 330 guests.

Our delightful private dining rooms will seat from 10 to 140 guests for lunch or dinner, or up to 160 guests for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Although the main dining room does not open until 11:00 AM, private receptions, collations, etc., can be accommodated as early as 9:00 AM. The entire restaurant may be reserved for morning use, or all day Sunday only, for up to 340 seated guests. It may also be available on Saturday, but only until 6:00 PM.

We welcome family and business functions any Monday through Saturday, with arrangements described more fully below. Much larger function, exhibit, and display spaces are readily available in a number of other areas throughout the massive TradeCenter 128 complex including the large three-story atrium which seats 140 for dinner. In addition, Beacon Grille works very closely with TradeCenter 128 Executive Suites to provide long or short-term office space in any needed size or configuration, as well as the latest in video conferencing and worldwide interconnective services. Full meal service is available within the Executive Suites' 30,000 SF facility directly above Beacon Grille.

Automobile access to Beacon Grille is especially easy, and free parking is abundant. The area is also directly serviced by MBTA Bus #134 from Wellington Circle via Medford Square, Winchester and Woburn Centers. Function Room Information

Private dining in the East Room, Rumford Room or the much smaller Baldwin Room means expertly prepared food and professional service in a private setting. This venue is ideal for catered business dinner meetings, private parties and special occasions. The Rumford Room includes a large 50" flat screen. Tour groups and other interstate busses can be accommodated at Beacon Grille but, only with prior reservations and credit card deposit. The Baldwin Room accommodates 10 for dinner at a magnificent round granite table.

 

For functions with full dinner service, the restaurant has a $45 per person average food and beverage minimum. A starter course plus a choice of either soup or salad, and a choice from pre-selected dinner entrees, plus coffee, tea, or soda, and a choice of any of our regular desserts can easily be accommodated within the minimum average.

For cocktails and hors d'oeuvres service only, see our basic hors d'oeuvres menu below. At least 30 guests are needed to reserve the East Room or the Rumford Room for cocktail receptions. A smaller number can usually be accommodated in the Alcove Room.

Alcoholic beverages are charged by consumption. Service can be from an open bar, cash bar, wine and beer only, or a combination of these. Massachusetts sales tax and an 18% gratuity are added but there is no rental fee for any room.

If wine will be served with dinner, it may be preselected from either our regular Wine List or from our Reserve List. We will be happy to assist in selecting a by-the-glass or by-the-bottle red, and white. Arrangements for wine pairing and wine tasting dinners may also be made with our general manager or with one of our Certified Sommeliers. Public wine tasting dinners are scheduled on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Rumford Room.

A non-refundable reservation deposit is required to book function rooms, and as do minimum expenditures.

Private Dining - General Information

Following is some of the essential information regarding the use of the private dining room(s) at Beacon Grille. This information should be read and considered in conjunction with Beacon Grille's Private Dining Policies. Should you have any questions regarding any of this information, please do not hesitate to ask.

Beacon Grille is a full-service American style restaurant. As such it offers a range of room options, as well as personalized assistance in planning events to ensure we deliver high quality cuisine and service. We encourage guests to work closely with our event coordinator and sommeliers when planning menu and beverage selections, audio/visual details, music, etc.

Weekend Events: Beacon Grille, from time to time, may be available for private parties on Sundays, even though the restaurant is regularly closed that day. There is a $5,000 food and beverage minimum (exclusive of meals tax and gratuity). The entire restaurant can also be available any weekday before 11:00 AM without extra charge for funeral collations, etc. Because of the high demand for ala carte use, the Rumford Room is generally not available for private use Friday or Saturday evenings.

Deposit: A deposit is required in order to reserve a private dining room, and no reservation shall be considered confirmed until accepted in writing by an authorized representative of Beacon Grille. The deposit will be credited on the bill at the conclusion of the event. All final payments must be via cash or credit card at the time of the event. Estimated Count: An estimated guest count is necessary in order to reserve space for any event. A final guest count is then required to be provided at least 72 hours before the date of the event. Billing will be based upon the final count or the actual number in attendance, whichever is greater.

Service Charges, Minimums and Taxes: No Room charges are assessed for the use of our private dining rooms for strictly dining, or for social or personal events, although minimum food revenue requirements apply when booking a private function, as our dining room(s) are otherwise used for a la carte dining. Minimum revenue requirements apply to food and beverages combined, and do not include tax or 18 percent gratuity. Beacon Grille accepts cash and/or major credit cards for payment.

Cancellation Policy: If Guest cancels the event, and so notifies Beacon Grille within fewer than 30 days of the scheduled event, the entire deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations within one week of the scheduled event will result in the cardholder's credit card being charged 30 percent of the estimated food and beverage revenue for the event; while cancellation of the event within 72 hours of the event, or failure to appear for the event, will result in cardholder's card being charged 100 percent of the estimated food and beverage revenue for the event (based on the final guest count), or the food and beverage minimum.

General: Homemade special occasion cakes and pastries may always be ordered through Beacon Grille, but cakes may also be brought in from any licensed bakery by an event sponsor. When served with any luncheon or dinner, Beacon Grille will provide needed plates and flatware at no charge. Guest decorations are always subject to Beacon Grille approval. By law, alcoholic beverages shall not be served before noon on Sundays, and shall not be brought into or taken from the building by Guest or others in attendance at Guest's event. Beacon Grille fully adheres to city and state smoking regulations. Smoking is prohibited anywhere inside any building in Massachusetts.

Flowers: Floral arrangements may always be purchased or otherwise brought in from any source of a guest's choosing. Beacon Grille, however, has used Corporate Daisy florists at 600 West Cummings Park, Woburn, MA 01801, and is pleased to recommend their work and quality.
